Holy Poop!
Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. Introduction and Website

Nerdena provides the mobile game Holy Poop! for iOS.

Holy Poop! does not require registration, a Nerdena login, or entry of a player name or contact details. The game uses Apple Game Center for leaderboards, iCloud for progress synchronization, Google AdMob for advertising, Google User Messaging Platform for advertising privacy choices, and Apple’s in-app purchase service for the optional Remove Ads purchase. These services may process information as described below.

For privacy questions or requests concerning personal data processed by Nerdena, use the contact details provided in section 16.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you play Holy Poop!, visit nerdena.com, or contact us by email, how that information is used, and which third-party services are involved.

Visiting nerdena.com

The website provides information about the game and links for support. Its pages do not include advertising, analytics tools, or tracking cookies added by Nerdena.

When you visit, your browser sends technical information to the hosting service to load the website. Server access logs may include your IP address, the date and time of a request, the page or file requested, and information about your browser and device. These records support website operation, troubleshooting, and security. This is separate from advertising in the game.

Our hosting provider is Hostinger. You can read Hostinger’s privacy information for details about its own processing.

2. Information You Provide and Legal Bases

Holy Poop! does not require you to create or sign in to a Nerdena account, or enter a player name. This is separate from any Apple account used with Game Center, iCloud, or App Store purchases.

The game does not directly ask you to provide personal information such as your:

Contacting us by email

For game support, email support@nerdena.com. For privacy questions or requests, email nerdana.shop@gmail.com.

When you contact us by email, we receive your email address, any sender name shown, and the contents of your message and attachments. These may include the device model, iOS version, game version, and details you provide about a problem.

We use this information to reply, investigate your issue, or handle your privacy request. Our privacy contact mailbox uses Google’s Gmail service, so Google processes correspondence sent to that address as part of providing the service.

Please include only information relevant to your request. Do not send passwords or full payment card details.

Legal bases for website and support processing

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to ordinary support enquiries and providing a functioning, secure website (Article 6(1)(f)). These interests must be balanced against your rights and freedoms. You may object to this processing as explained in section 12.

When we process a request to exercise your GDPR rights, we do so to meet our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). These bases concern website and support processing; they do not replace any consent required for advertising in the game.

Legal bases for game features and advertising

Where the GDPR applies to personal data processed by Nerdena through the game, the legal basis depends on the purpose:

These bases describe Nerdena’s processing. Where Apple or Google processes information for its own purposes, its privacy information explains the applicable legal bases.

3. Local Game Data

Holy Poop! stores certain game-related information locally on your device so the game can remember your settings and progress.

This may include:

This information is saved on your device and used to operate the game. The next section explains which progress data may also be synchronized through iCloud.

4. iCloud Sync

Holy Poop! uses Apple’s iCloud service to synchronize limited game progress between your Apple devices.

The following information may be synchronized through iCloud:

Audio settings, selected characters or worlds, and active challenges are not currently synchronized through iCloud.

iCloud data is processed through Apple's infrastructure and is subject to Apple's privacy practices.

5. Game Center

Holy Poop! uses Apple Game Center for leaderboard functionality.

The game may:

Holy Poop! does not use Game Center achievements at this time.

Game Center is operated by Apple. Information processed through Game Center is subject to Apple's privacy policies and settings.

6. In-App Purchases / StoreKit

Holy Poop! uses Apple’s StoreKit in-app purchase service to offer Remove Ads as an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase.

The game checks whether the purchase is owned and allows purchases to be restored.

Payment and transaction processing is handled by Apple. Nerdena does not directly receive your payment card details.

7. Advertising / Google AdMob

Holy Poop! uses Google Mobile Ads / Google AdMob, a third-party service, to display advertisements. Ads may be personalized where permitted and based on your choices, or shown without personalization.

Google Mobile Ads may collect and process the following information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and diagnostics, depending on your device, region, and privacy choices:

Holy Poop!’s App Store privacy disclosure marks Device ID as collected, linked to you or your device, used for third-party advertising and analytics, and used for tracking. Google Mobile Ads may use Device ID for these purposes when legally permitted and when required permissions have been granted. This describes data processed through Google’s service; Nerdena does not itself collect IDFA.

See Google’s information about data collected by its Mobile Ads service and Google’s Privacy Policy for more details.

8. Tracking and Consent

Holy Poop! uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. The app asks for authorization before using tracking functionality that requires ATT, including access to Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA). If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” you can continue to use the game normally.

Ads may still be shown without IDFA after you deny ATT permission, where permitted by law and your applicable advertising privacy choices. Denying ATT does not by itself turn off all advertising.

Holy Poop! uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), a third-party service, to manage applicable advertising consent and privacy requirements, including European privacy requirements. Where required, UMP presents choices about how information may be used for ads. Where required and available, you can review and change your advertising privacy choices in Holy Poop! by opening Settings → Privacy Options. You can manage ATT permission separately in iOS Settings.

9. Analytics and Diagnostics

Holy Poop! does not use Firebase Analytics, a separate Nerdena analytics or crash-reporting service, custom user IDs, or fingerprinting.

However, Google Mobile Ads may process diagnostic, crash, performance, and interaction information as part of its advertising and SDK functionality.

10. Data Sharing and International Transfers

Nerdena does not sell personal information.

Information may be processed by providers used for the game, website, and email support, including:

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable legal obligations.

International transfers

Apple and Google operate internationally. Information processed through their services may be transferred to or accessed in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States.

Google describes its use of adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers, and standard contractual clauses in its data transfer information. Apple describes international processing and its use of standard contractual clauses in its Privacy Policy. These pages also explain how to request further information about their safeguards.

Depending on the hosting location and services used, Hostinger and its service providers may process website visitor data outside the European Economic Area. Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum describes its processing on behalf of hosting customers and the safeguards applicable to international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

11. Data Retention

Locally stored game data remains on your device until it is changed, reset by the app where applicable, or removed with the application or device data.

Data synchronized through Apple services such as iCloud or Game Center may remain associated with your Apple account according to Apple's retention practices.

Advertising and diagnostic data processed by Google is retained according to Google's applicable policies and service configuration.

Website logs and backups

Hostinger manages retention of website access and security logs under its service terms and retention rules. Relevant purposes include operating and securing the hosting service, investigating faults and abuse, and meeting legal obligations.

Hostinger’s published retention information describes keeping data for as long as needed for its stated purposes and notes that residual backup copies may remain for a limited period. The exact retention period for this website’s logs and backup copies has not been confirmed.

Email correspondence

We retain support email correspondence for up to 12 months after the request is closed, then delete it from our mailbox. If particular records are needed to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise, or defend a specific legal claim, we retain only those records for as long as needed for that purpose.

12. Your Rights, Choices and Data Removal

You can remove locally stored Holy Poop! data by deleting the application from your device.

You may also manage relevant Apple services through your device or Apple account settings, including:

Where Privacy Options are required and available for your region, you can review or change your advertising privacy choices through Settings → Privacy Options in Holy Poop!. For questions about advertising-related data processing, contact nerdana.shop@gmail.com.

Your rights under the GDPR

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, you have the following rights, subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by law:

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights concerning personal data controlled by Nerdena, email nerdana.shop@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Describe the request and the data concerned. For a request about previous support correspondence, sending it from the same email address can help us locate it.

You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, place of work, or the alleged infringement. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO). See UODO’s complaint information.

13. Children’s Privacy

Holy Poop! is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children.

Holy Poop! does not knowingly ask users to provide personal contact information such as a name, email address, phone number, or postal address.

Third-party services used by the game, including Apple and Google services, may process information according to their own policies and age-related requirements.

If you are a parent or guardian with a question or concern about your child’s personal data in connection with Holy Poop!, contact nerdana.shop@gmail.com. Please describe your concern without including unnecessary personal information about the child.

14. Third-Party Services

Holy Poop! uses services provided by third parties, including:

We recommend reviewing the privacy information provided by Apple and Google for more information about how they process data.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if the game, its features, third-party services, or legal requirements change.

When the policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will also be updated.
